Engineered by Harshita (Lead Developer) and Dr.N (Co-Developer), Nnotes is built around a strict local-first, private-by-default model under the motto Cure. Code. Create. We believe your handwritten notes, diagrams, and ideas belong exclusively to you.

Zero Note Tracking & No Account Requirement: You can use Nnotes completely offline. No user registration, no email sign-ups, and zero note tracking frameworks are embedded in the app.

2. Data Collection & Advertising Integration (AdSense & AdMob)
While your notes and drawings remain completely private and stored locally on your device, Nnotes utilizes third-party advertising services to support the continued development of the application:
- Google AdMob & AdSense: We integrate Google's advertising networks to serve relevant ads. These services may collect and process device identifiers, IP addresses, and generalized location data to provide personalized advertising.
- Ad Personalization: Depending on your device settings and region (such as GDPR/CCPA consent forms), Google may use cookies or mobile ad identifiers (like Android Advertising ID) to track your interaction with ads.
- Strict Separation: Advertising SDKs do not have access to your handwritten notes, canvas data, or files saved via the Storage Access Framework.

3. On-Device Auto-Beautify Engine
Nnotes' flagship **Magical Auto-Beautify** feature converts messy handwriting into styled digital text:
- 100% On-Device Parsing: All stroke analysis and handwriting-to-text recognition are performed locally on your device CPU/GPU.
- No Cloud Uploads: Your handwritten text is never sent to external AI servers or remote recognition APIs.

4. Local File Storage & Storage Access Framework (SAF)
Nnotes integrates with Android's native **Storage Access Framework (SAF)**:
- No Broad File Access Needed: Nnotes does not ask for broad `READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE` or `WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE` permissions to access your photos or files.
- Isolated Directory Access: Files are read and written strictly in folders you grant access to via the system document picker.

5. 3D Companion Mascots & Local Assets
Our interactive 3D profession companions (Doctor, Student, Engineer, Artist) are bundled locally within the app installation package. No external servers or network connections are established when choosing or interacting with your companion.

Nnotes is provided "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, LOSS OF DATA, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM DEVICE HARDWARE FAILURE OR SYSTEM CORRUPTION.
